COVID-19: Canada sees flight bookings rise as travel rules loosen, PCR test no longer required

Canadians are flocking to airports to take to the skies again after the country's COVID-19 travel rules loosened Monday, with flight bookings seeing an increase.

Canada no longer requires vaccinated travellers to have a PCR test for COVID-19 up to 72 hours before flying​. Only a rapid test is needed now, though the PCR test is still an option. The country is also no longer advising against non-essential travel.

Sean O'Shea spoke with people jetting off again to find out how they feel as the travel rules lift.
