This video shows the unboxing of the *CERTIFIED* Zeskit 8K HDMI Ultra HD High Speed 48Gbps Cable and tests its performance using the Denon AVR-X4700H receiver's HDMI Diagnostics Mode.

In 2020, I tested the non-certified Zeskit 8K HDMI Ultra HD High Speed 48Gbps Cable:

Zeskit has recently certified that cable and it's available for the same price (about $20 on Amazon).

Certification provides extra confidence that the cable will meet the Ultra HD High Speed 48Gbps (HDMI 2.1) specification.

The procedure shown should work for any of the 2020 Denon receivers which support HDMI 2.1.

It uses information from this older Denon service manual:

But for the Denon 4700H receiver you need do two things differently:

1) Hook up the HDMI cable between HDMI7 (8k) and the Monitor1 (eARC) HDMI ports on the back of the receiver.

2) Press the
[Back]
and
[Up Cursor]
buttons on the front panel to enter HDMI Diagnostics Mode.

NOTE: Some other 2020 receivers have different button combinations to enter HDMI Diagnostics Mode.
