Trudeau’s public safety minister claims there were threats of rape at freedom convoy

During the House of Commons Public Safety committee, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino justified the unprecedented use of the Emergencies Act by claiming the freedom convoy was dangerous and unsafe. He even went as far as claiming there were threats of rape.

CPC MP Raquel Dancho asked Mendicino why she could walk through the freedom convoy on a daily basis if the government’s claims were true.
