Putin THREATENS Finland And Sweden Over NATO

Putin has threatened Finland and Sweden after Finland reopens talks to join NATO with Sweden possibly to follow right after. Russia has an age old claim to a small area in Finland where Russian native speakers live to this day so the situation in Finland has some parallels to Ukraine and why Russia invaded Ukraine.

The Finnish foreign minister has said that Russias threat of military action should Finland join NATO is purely a matter of how Russia would react internally in their own country. But NATO forces have been building up in Finland and Sweden to protect against a possible Russia conflict and incursion.

Finland is a NATO partner but not a NATO member yet. Finland will probably be looking to change that quickly should Russia move more troops to the Finnish border.
