60 Seconds in Nature: Baby Brook Trout Feeding

Rivers are running high with the snowmelt and I found this little side meadow filled up with about 6 inches of overflow water at 10,200ft along Cottonwood Creek. There were a bunch of tiny brook trout jumping out of the water to snag mosquitos out of the air. Great place for these little guys to feed and get their strength before heading out into the river to hang with the big boys!
