CHARLES RICHARDS Celebration is a dynamic, multi-generational community that continues to evolve. Founders, newlyweds, young families, first time homeowners, and so many others – each with their own story – live here and deserve representation.

My story starts in 2012, during my final semester of my MBA program, when my wife begged me to move to Celebration. We were engaged and I was living in Tampa and very unsure about making the move. Now, in 2022, I am firmly rooted in South Village with my wife, twin boys, and a sincere desire to be involved with CROA.

While that is a little bit of my story, I’m more interested in listening to your stories. What made you choose Celebration and what do you need to help write your next chapter?

I plan to always listen first and use your stories and feedback to inform the right approach to our community decisions. My commitment is to never act in my own interests or those that conflict with those of the greater community. I am also committed to transparency and open, constructive, and respectful communication.

I am limited to 225 words here, so I welcome the opportunity to discuss my professional experience further and answer any other questions. Together, I’m confident we can make Celebration the preeminent location to live, work, and play.

ALINA KHAYRULINA Like many others in Celebration, I’m an immigrant. As a child, I’ve lived in two large communities with homeowners associations so I am not a stranger to bylaws. After high-school graduation, I moved to Tampa, obtained citizenship and received a B.S. degree in Marketing from USF in 2012. I followed that with an MBA in 2014 from Florida Southern College in Lakeland.

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Lakeland is where my career began seven years ago at. Key performance indicators, analytics and coordination was where I started. Human Resource systems is where I happily ended up. My expertise is in project management, configurations, testing, reporting and maintenance. A project must be well planned and communicated, participants be held accountable, and most of all I firmly believe the customer must be pleased with the end-result.

My husband and I selected Celebration not only because it’s halfway between our workplaces but also because of the sense of community, education and safety.

Since moving here in 2019, the numerous electronic means of communication is how I’ve been able to connect with many neighbors. I’m currently the Democrats of Celebration Treasurer and look forward to representing residential owners on the CROA board. To be frank, I want to be the change I heard you asking for; I’m tenacious, hard-working and devoted.
