The hydra bites itself to make himself angry for the big fight. Starve him, to make his play useless

We are still living in the shadow of ww2. for some reason the world has not been able to move past beyond it. we still think in its terms of definitions. The war may have ended but the paradigm is still the same. could we be setting up for a new paradigm with a grand finalé? or can we as humanity move past beyod it by sidestepping new conflicts we are constantly pushed into?
