Police launch murder investigation after a man in his 20s was killed
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation after a man in his 20s was killed and another man in his 30s was left seriously injured.
Emergency services were called to a house in Caslon Crescent in Stourbridge, West Mids., yesterday evening (Fri) at around 7.40pm.
There they found the two men with serious injuries, and sadly the man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have now brought specialist resources from across the force to help hunt who is responsible for the attack.
In the meantime, officers will be at the house for the next few days as they conduct door-to-door enquiries and collect evidence.
Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from Force CID, said: “People will understandably worried about what’s happened.
"Right now our priority is to find the people responsible. Specialist resources from across the West Midlands have been brought in to help us.
“At the same time, we are supporting family members, collecting evidence and piecing together all of the facts so that we understand what happened and why."
