Luke 10:25-37

The parable of the Good Samaritan is about reaching out to needy people. All around us people are not only wounded physically by the violence in our culture, but many also hide emotional and spiritual wounds. The Christian's attitude towards ministry and how they are willing to "do church" affects their effectiveness in God's Kingdom and their ultimate reward in heaven.

Jesus told this parable in response to the question, "Who is my neighbor?"

In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. Luke 10:30Luke 10:25-37
