War Pigs was written by Iommi, Osbourne, Butler & Ward

When I was playing bass in a Blues Brothers tribute band (Circa 1998), the backline of musicians were all metal rockers. It consisted of Musclehead, Johnny O and myself. We started jamming some metal tunes and one of them was War Pigs. Our horn section wanted in on the song and I showed them how to play some of it and then realizing that the song was almost made for horns as they played. We scripted the parts they would play and it sounded great! So, we placed a short version of War Pigs in our setlist and the crowd loved it.

I played a full version in my band Afternight in 2009: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB-nah9M9_8

This version was arranged by Dino T. Manzella & Tynan.

Much appreciation, thanks and respect to King Julian Balboa (and his wife Tracy) for having all of us over to record in his basement studio on all of his gear and allowing me (Dino) access to play with the mix.

I can totally see why people call you the king, bro.
