God’s will for your life
Pastor Matt Haflett
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

1. ______________ always.
• Joy and happiness seem similar, but are actually divergent.
• Happiness: fleeting and circumstantial, can come and go.
• Joy: not based on mood. Based on God, who He is, and our walk with Him.
Philippians 4:4

2. _____________ without ceasing.
• Prayer can be as simple as communicating with God, vocally or through the heart.
• Be in constant communication with God and aware of His presence in your life.
• In every situation, no matter your place in life, there is a time for prayer.
Ephesians 6:18, Philippians 4:6

3. Give _____________ in all circumstances.
• The longer you possess, the more you take it for granted.
• Be thankful that God has revealed Himself to us through His Word.
• When the job, food, money is gone, we still have reason to be thankful.
1 Peter 2:9, Romans 8:31-39
