Biscuits Made With Oil - The Hillbilly Kitchen - Breakfast Series

As part of our Breakfast Series, this video shows you how to make biscuits with oil. There are many different types of oil that you can use to make biscuits such as; grape seed oil, olive oil, canola oil, corn oil, sunflower seed oil, etc...

Biscuits made with oil do not have any saturated fats and are a healthy alternative to biscuits made with solid fat, like Crisco.

The good thing about biscuits made with oil have is that they have a tendency to crumble and will not hold together as well as biscuits made with solid fat or butter and because they crumble, they are ideal for breaking them up and pouring breakfast gravy over them or breaking them up and mixing them into a bowl of gravy and they taste delicious.
