A traditional southern pie with a unique flavor all its own. It's simple to make and a favorite among country people. My granny always made this pie just for me. I was her pick of the litter, so I got special treatment :)

You can serve this pie hot or cold, fancy looking or just plain country looking. If you have family or friends who have never tasted Buttermilk Pie, then treat them to a cut of it. They'll love you for it!

Ingredients:

1 to 2 cups - Sugar (You decide how sweet you want it)
1/2 cup - Melted real butter
3 tablespoons - All purpose flour
3 - Eggs
1/4 teaspoon - Salt
1 teaspoon - Vanilla extract
1 cup - Buttermilk
A 9 inch deep dish pie crust or make your own https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiZmtMgGfyQ

If you want to make it fancy top it with some caramel sauce https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbIpgeBBtuw
and some fresh whipped cream https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thstGZfUfZo

Don't forget to give thanks to God above before you tear into your pie :)
