Chocolate Walnut Fudge - The Hillbilly Kitchen
I love going to the mall, just to go walking around with Bret (When I can get him to go) and I like to look around at stuff that I can't afford. Anytime Bret goes with me he always buys chocolate walnut fudge at one of the candy counters that are scattered throughout the mall.
A quick calculation of the price of mall fudge ($14.99 for 12 oz.) makes it about $20.00 lb. I've decided that from now on I'm gunna carry Bret some fudge in a brown bag when we go to the mall and keep that money in my pocket!
This recipe makes over 3 lbs. That's $60 bucks or more worth of fudge! So pack your better half a brown bag full of chocolate walnut fudge and make him/her take you shopping.
Ingredients:
3 cups - Sugar
3/4 cup - Real butter
3/4 cup - Evaporated milk
12 oz. - Semi-sweet chocolate chips
7 oz. - Marshmallow cream
1 cup - Chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon - Real vanilla extract
