VEHICLE HIGHLIGHTS Georgia Registration Card CSX3302 Shelby Cobra 427 CID Engine 4 Speed Manual Transmission CSX3302 is The First Car In What was Originally Intended to be The Third Batch of 100 Coil-Spring Cars sent to Shelby American Originally billed to Shelby American in Blue Acrylic Paint with Black Interior on 8/24/1966 CSX3301 was Retained in England making this CSX3302 the First Chassis to Receive the 427 Engine under Shelby American Chief Engineer, Fred Goodell In June of 1967, Shelby American Invoiced CSX3302 to Larsen Ford Inc., White Plains, NY at a Cost of $6,595.00 CSX3302 was sent by Airfreight to JFK Airport where Larson Sold the Cobra to Manhattan Avis Rent-a-Car Franchisee, F. Sylvestry Just a few weeks after delivery the Original Carburetor was Replaced under Warranty At Some point during its Tenure with Sylvestery the Fiberglass Bodywork was Installed In the Late 1970's Robert Size of Indian Wells, California Acquired the Car and had a restoration performed during which Alloy Bodywork was reinstalled Now Sporting Red Paint with Sunburst Wheels the Cobra would be Purchased by Gerald Schwalbach of Minneapolis, MN 3302 would Surface again after Ten Years, Now 5/87, to be Sold at Le Fontainbleu Auction in France to H. Ogliatro for "65 million De centimes" After being displayed with a variety of European Exotics in Ogliastro's Paris based Automuseum Pantin, 3302 would eventually Make it back to the US In 1998 it was purchased and returned to the US by its Current Owner and Caretaker Chris Greene of Georgia Still in its Museum Livery it will be Offered as Displayed with Halibrand Wheels, Hood Scoop, and Chrome Side Pipes
