I used both the URSA Mini 4K and 4.6K cameras from BlackMagic Design on verious projects over the last year. I like both of these camera, but they definately function better with a good rig.
I already did a review of the original rig that BlackMagic desgined. As good as that rig was, it still lacked a lot of features that I was looking for. Today I want to show you a new rig from LanParte that has it all. I really mean it has it all, including the battery plate, mattebox, follow focus and even a travel case that will fit the whole rig and the URSA Mini camera inside it.
I was so impressed with this rig that I decided to take it on a long and hard feature film shoot in India. Please watch my video review to see all the cool features this rig has.

To keep the review videos shorter, I’ve decided to do another video where I show how I built up the rig for this camera. You will see the lenses and all the accessories I use – and there are a lot them. In fact, although the camera is called Mini, the whole camera rig is far from small. But when you are working on a long shoot, accessories can make a world of difference in what you get out of a camera.
