The Volkswagen Atlas is a full-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) to be manufactured by German automaker Volkswagen at its Chattanooga plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the United States. The Atlas will be the largest vehicle produced on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform and will feature transverse-mounted engines of four-cylinders or Volkswagen's narrow angle V6.[5][6]

The Atlas will be marketed as the Volkswagen Teramont when production (in Shanghai) and sales begin in China in 2017.[7]
