QMS Bootcamp: Conducting and audit - asking questions

The QMS Bootcamp has been developed for Quality/Compliance Management, Operations and Production Leadership. The QMS Bootcamp was developed over 10 years ago to teach and train leadership and management teams on the fundamental concepts and skills related to implementing, maintaining and integrating a 'Quality' Management System.

In today's lesson we will be discussing how to use questions during an audit. The fact is questions are our number one tool to obtain objective evidence. We will be looking into ISO 9001:2015 clause 9.2 as well as a few selections from ISO 19011 specifically clause 7.4 for Audit Evaluation Methods, A.5 for Objective Evidence and A17 for conducting interviews.

The skills required for a successful audit require more than just open ended questions and well placed closed questions.
