10 . Cotton fruit (Sandoricum koetjape)
Native to indonesia the cotton fruit or the santol as it’s also called was introduced to indochina, sri lanka, india, northern australia, mauritius and the seychelles. The tree can reach up to 150 feet or 45 meters tall which can produce one of two varieties the yellow and red with the red being more common.

Native to Indonesia and Malaysia the rambutan naturally grows in Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and other countries in southeast asia. This member of the soapberry family is related to other spherical fruits like longan and lychee. Grown on a tree that’ll reach 40 - 60 feet or 12 to 18 meters tall, this member of the soapberry will grow and survive for 20 years.

Originating from western Armenia near the Tigris River, this melon prefers the hot summer sun in temperate and Mediterranean regions. They grow on a climbing vine but since they don’t weigh much, there is less demand on the trellis itself making this an ideal melon to grow pretty much anywhere a small growing structure can be built.

Called naranjilla or little orange in Ecuador or lulo in Colombia this member of the nightshade family is produced on an attractive plant with large oval leaves that are covered in short purple hairs.

Hailing from south-east asia the Keledang fruit or monkey jackfruit is most commonly found in thailand, banka, lingga, Riau Island, Borneo, the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra.

A rare and unknown fruit the kesusu is also known as Ematak, Buruni, tumpang, and Karon. Belonging to the same plant family as the jackfruit as the others on this list, the Kesusu is an extremely rare jungle fruit of Borneo. They have also been found in Malaysia, Sumatra, New Guinea and Moluccas.
