Heating blowing hot one side and ice cold on the other
Blows ice cold through the passenger side and full heat through drivers side . Tried all buttons . Changes direction no problem just heat remains the same on drivers side only (hot) any help would be much appreciated
AC blowing warm air
it is the flap door inside the heater box area.alot of gm with electronic climate control have the problem.there is an actuator motor that needs to be replaced.
Hot air comes out of passengers vent in my maserati when ac is on
Front air conditioner vents (both the ones for your body/face and feet) aren't working.
Air is only coming out of the front defrost vents.
I pressed every button I could under climate, but are only getting air out of the front defrost. even in Auto mode, only air coming out of the front defrost.
I change the fan speed, temperature and it does change. but the fan for body/face and feet aren't working at all.
I know this could be an software update or could be actuator burns out. Worst is there is no Maserati dealer in Vietnam. So i can NOT have the software update or machine to check for anything. Is there anyway to check for this?
and what is the actuator and diverter valve? and where are they located?
problem is EXTREMELY common and well known and has been discussed in detail quite a few times on the forum. in any case, it will involve you taking the car to the dealer to have it repaired. its not a self fix or DIY and does involve both parts and software flashing.
if its only the vent / defrost issue, it may only be software update.
if you dont have AC at all, and its blowing hot air then you will also need some AC parts in addition to the software flash. but it sounds like you have a working AC, which blows thru defrost only. super common.
drivers side was blowing cooler air than the passenger and was actually quite chilly. Mostly cold air coming out of the drivers window/door vent.
I turned the heat and blower to max and the drivers side definitely did not get as hot. I took it to the dealer and they said everything checked out, but the did a climate control update. Since the update everything is normal now.
So if you are having any climate control issues apparently there is an update out there.
And yes I know the heater cite is in the passenger side and it will get hotter there first, but after several hours they should be the same on both sides.
It's pronounced "gib-lee" and it's named for an African desert wind—the perfect name for a hot Italian sedan. With its deliciously curved lines, the 2020 Maserati Ghibli's looks are backed up by what's under the hood: a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine offered in either 345- or 424-hp guise. Not only does the Ghibli's engine provide quick acceleration, it also sounds fantastic, especially when Sport mode is engaged and the exhaust system opens itself up for a throatier growl. Despite its Italian-ness and a host of fancy optional extras, as a mid-size luxury car, the Ghibli doesn't quite measure up. It borrows too many cheap interior bits from the Fiat-Chrysler parts bin to pull off its upscale price tag. Rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz E-class and Audi A6 offer more modern tech and luxury features as standard.
The base setup for the Ghibli is a 345-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 with rear-wheel drive; the S performance version has 424 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, and offers all-wheel drive (Q4 in Maserati parlance) as an option. Both engines have an eight-speed automatic transmission. We tested an S model back in 2014 and were charmed by the exotic sounds that it made. At our test track, it managed a 4.7-second zero-to-60-mph time—quick for 2014, but today it can be outrun by a non-AMG version of the Mercedes-Benz E-class. Since then, Maserati has upped the power on S models from 404 to 424 ponies. When we tested this engine in the Maserati Levante SUV, it managed a time of 5.1 seconds, so the lighter Ghibli should be noticeably quicker. The Ghibli's on-road demeanor is frisky but the trade-off is a jarring ride over rough surfaces.
