Maximum Distance - More Control + Settings to Fit Your Swing
Fade Bias * Neutral * Slight Draw Bias * Draw Bias * Maximum Draw Bias * Ultra Light
Maximum speed and distance. Pinpoint control and accuracy. It's a driver that adapts - to your swing, your abilities, your goals - to deliver more of what you want whether it's extreme distance or middle of the fairway. Constructed with a new ultra light, precision cast HyperTi body the club provides adjustable weighting to accommodate the entire range of club lengths from 44" to 48" and allows for heavier or lighter swing weights depending on your personal preference. Intelligently adaptable to fit a wide range of swing types it's a driver with a brain - simply set it, forget it and enjoy longer and straighter drives by unlocking the two key elements necessary for maximum distance - increased swing speed with a draw.
The LightSpeed HyperTi has SmartSet technology - a simple yet effective method of altering the driver's face angle into 5 varying positions. This allows golfers of all handicaps and skill levels to take advantage of a more powerful drive by choosing the setting that is right for their personal swing:
Fade Bias: Suggested for low handicap players who fight a hook. Opens the face angle to prevent over hooking.
Neutral: Suggested for skilled players who desire a workable driver for fades or draws. Squares the face angle for workable drives.
Slight Draw Bias: Suggested for players with decent swing fundamentals seeking straight ball flight or minor draw bias. Slightly closes the face angle for gentle draws.
Draw Bias: Suggested for various handicaps seeking a straighter ball flight or an easier to draw driver. Closes the face angle for increased draw bias.
Maximum Draw Bias: Suggested for higher handicaps, players who battle a fade or any golfer seeking a more draw bias driver. Significantly closes the face angle for max draw.
For golfers whose swing improves or changes over time the driver can be easily re-set to continue to deliver consistent and personalized results.
Maximizing Distance
Increasing swing speed by just 10% can add an additional 16 to 20 yards of distance for senior golfers and average players who have driver swing speeds in the 70 to 90 mph ranges. Rather than trying to overpower the swing (which creates mishits and poor control) it's a matter of allowing the club to do the work. By employing the proven scientific principle of leverage club head speed can increase by as much as 10% when combined with a driver that offers adjustable weighting. For instance, a standard 45" driver has a head weight in the range of 200 to 205 grams but if that driver is increased in length to 47" or 48" the swing weight becomes extremely heavy putting excessive pressure on the hands, wrists and arms. However, the LightSpeed HyperTi offers variable club head weighting (from 176 to 207 grams) to perfectly match longer or shorter driver lengths. For golfers looking to maximize distance or simply create center of the fairway control the driver gives optimum weighting while maintaining the light weight necessary to produce "lag" (the ability to retain wrist cock in the downswing for release of full power at impact). This combination of leverage and lag promote the highest possible club head speeds for truly "smoked" drives.
