Dark Night of the Soul

Directors Statement:
Dark Night of the Soul was written out of my own personal experiences. Events and dialogue were written to create a work of fiction but the emotion and the overall experience are my own.

It was also written and produced as an exercise in filmmaking. The goal set out was to write a short story, build a small team, increase production value through careful planning and execution and to produce something dramatic with a high level of increasing intensity. While not being perfect, many lessons were learned while filming this project. Thank you so much for the invaluable help from everyone on the team. Without you all this would not have been possible! This story is a small piece of a larger universe of stories. My previous film LOCKDOWN released in 2020 is in that same universe. I intend on continuing a larger narrative through a series of short films (called The Last Battle) and I’m looking for individuals that would like to contribute their time and talents towards producing greater content in the future. The ultimate goal of this series is to promote the gospel and to present Biblical truths as they relate to current events and to what might come.

The overarching story will be told from perspective of several different characters lives in the years leading up to the rapture of the church.
