This video is our travel guide to Krabi Thailand. In this video, we show you things to do, what to eat, and places to stay. It is a beautiful place for solo travelers, couples, and families.

WHAT TO DO:
1. Take a boat tour to see the Islands
You can take a speed boat or long-tail boat tour. Think limestone cliffs, white sand beaches, and clear green water. These are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Make sure you visit Phi Phi Islands and Hong Island. Phi Phi island was made popular by the movie The beach. You have to visit these beaches!

2. Visit an ethical elephant sanctuary
This was such an amazing experience for our family. Elephant sanctuaries are places for elephants that have been rescued from either the tourist trade or were work elephants. Here you get to feed, bathe and walk with the elephants. This is an experience of a lifetime!

3. Emerald Pool
Emerald Pool is a natural wonder of stunning crystal-clear emerald water in the middle of the jungle located in Thung Teao Forest National Park. You have to experience this pool in the middle of the jungle!

4. Krabi Hot Springs
Klong Thom Hot springs are natural ‘hot tubs’ from volcanic springs in the middle of the jungle. They are said to have healing properties and are certainly worth a visit.

5. Tiger Cave Temple
Was discovered in 1975 when a Monk went to meditate in a cave and he was said to have seen tigers. You can participate in a blessing ceremony and also climb 1237 steps to the top of a mountain for a spectacular view. Beware of the monkeys!

6. Huay Tho Waterfall
This waterfall is a hidden gem with a fairly short easy hike to 5 cascading waterfalls with pools at the bottom you can swim in.

7. Ao Nang
This is one of the main towns and it has a couple of beautiful beaches, lots of shopping, restaurants, massage places, coffee and nightlife. Lots to do here!

8. Accommodations
There are a lot of nice places to stay in Krabi. We usually choose to stay at Airbnb's but the prices for beautiful resorts that have a pool and often include breakfast, are fairly reasonable. We liked Pelican Resort south of Ao Nang.

9. What to Eat
We loved Pad Thai which is super cheap in many places. There are lots of smaller family-owned street food places that were amazing. We also loved our favorite smoothie place called Fresh Your Day.

10. Thailand Beaches!
The beaches in Krabi are some of the most beautiful in the world. Some you get to by boat on Hong Island and Phi Phi island. On the mainland, there are beaches in Ao Nang, Tub Kaak beach, and Long Muang all unique and worth a stop.

• Honorable mention was Railay beach which didn’t get to but is super popular.

Some things we didn’t get to do but should be high on your list are:
11. Visit Krabi Town
Known for local markets, the Krabi river, and a beautiful temple.

12. Take a ferry to Koh Lanta which is a beautiful island south of Krabi.
13. Make sure you enjoy an amazing sunset and fire dance/performance on the beach.
