Transhumanism: When Humans Become Cyborgs

Transhumanism: The idea that humans need to be replaced with a human 2.0 of almost cyborg-like qualities. Any species that causes huge damage to their environment, can’t feed itself even though it has enough food, and wages wars that cost millions of lives surely needs to be improved. Evolving in ways that could better our lives can only be a good thing, but evolving to a stage where we humans become something other than a human could be less desirable. We cannot afford to push healthcare advances to improve a human, where we allow prosthetics without reason, push life expectancy as far as it can go in search of immortality, and integrate technology directly into people creating artificial humans.
