Easily publish Amazon KDP book covers without using templates, and I talk about PDF vs PNG vs Jpeg

First, I'm a photographer, so I know a little about the file formats I will be talking about. There's always been talk about if it matters that an image is in 72dpi or 300dpi. We can argue, and often do, about dpi, but for book covers, I try to give a straightforward explanation of what we use and why.
