Why we use raised beds...

When we moved to the property 3.5 years ago I did not know the land had such a issue with water. It made our first growing season almost a complete failure.

In spring 2020 we built these raised beds and have had much better luck though I am still working on making the soil we had brought in healthier.

This water issue is not a constant but happens a few times in the spring and fall. Though we don’t aways have a River Run Through It (great movie btw) the land stays very wet during planting season.
