Our In-House Caramel Sauce Recipe (Makes 4 Quarts)
Ingredients:
10 cups granulated sugar
30 ounces of butter
5 cups of heavy whipping cream

Instructions:
1. Add sugar in large stock pot. Set burner to medium-high heat to begin caramelizing sugar. This process normally takes 20-30 minutes.
2. Stir sugar every few minutes to prevent the sugar from burning the bottom of the pan
3. Once the sugar caramelizes and becomes liquid, stir out all the clumps for a smooth gooey texture.
4. Add butter in butter in increments, stirring throughout
5. Add in heavy cream in increments, change stir directions to make sure butter and heavy cream blend in smoothly.
6. Caramel should be a golden brown, sauce texture. Once all clumps are stirred out - allow to cool before storing
