Sometimes I think about the meaning we give to life, basically a
child is born; grow up; study; works; some continue to study;
among these things he dates; get married; have children; raise the children; wait
retirement and dies. Of course not perfectly in that order.
But the big question is why follow this repertoire?
Everyone wants to be different, but we always do the same things and still
so we want to get different results. How can this work?
It just doesn't work! It's fact.
We complain about everything all the time, but deep down it seems that if we don't fulfill this
"cycle of life" we will not feel fulfilled. But so far so good, so far
I understand, because there are stages that are really essential in our life.
My real indignation is in the way we value frivolous and banal things,
making them more important than that, that we feel we like that
it really does us good.
I keep watching people on a daily basis... In their expectations... I don't know
it's as if everyone lives only for the future... Work, Work and
work and the objective is always the same to obtain material goods... And finally
being able to fulfill the model of life that everyone wants... Getting married and having children, just
to say you formed a family.
It's all so superficial, as if people don't have dreams...
just to follow what everyone else does. Dreams are always connected in the
future.
Then I think... Is this really living?
Life is every moment... Do we take advantage of these moments or leave
all the moments of our present go unnoticed, because we are
with eyes fixed on the future?
Then I think further... After all, what future?
We don't know if we'll be alive for even 5 minutes, let alone 5 years from now.
A person's future can be now... and at this very moment
come the end. So how can we live idealizing our happiness?
on something that doesn't belong to us? It's all strange.
I look as if we have no idea what we're doing here.
My idea of ??the future is to prepare ourselves and avoid doing things in life
in which they can no longer be forgiven. 'Cause everyone's future will be
exactly the moment of the end. And that's something individual, it's not just related
at the end of the world.
Sometimes I have the feeling that nobody thinks about it..However it is really difficult,
even I think about it now, there are moments that I forget and live the illusions of the future
like everyone. It's an automatic thing.
But why don't we live every moment, as if it were the last...
I'm not saying to live inconsequentially, but to make the most of our present,
suddenly doing what we like, what makes us feel good today, while
instead of saving everything for the uncertain future we have.
Escaping a little from this model of life that society imposes on us, maybe...
To have the opportunity to be fulfilled in every way, even if they are things
out of common.
The idea is to feel happy with the simple things in life. Only that!
Even if apparently, it's an idiotic attitude in the eyes of the world.
