Residents of Bashkortostan rally against the invasion of French bees

People actually came to the rally because of fears that French bees are assimilating with Bashkir bees and spoiling the gene pool.

The reason for the discontent is the plans of the French company Bi Happy, which is going to lease part of the Bashkir lands and develop an industrial beekeeping project in the republic (they plan to invest almost 4 billion rubles in it). Local beekeepers are not happy about such a project at all. In their opinion, Bashkir honey is the best in the world, and French bee colonies can interbreed with Bashkir bees and spoil everything.
