In the city of Gubkin in the Belgorod region, a tile on a pedestrian path in the city center suddenly collapsed under a passerby — a woman fell to a depth of 2.5 meters underground and landed on pipes. The passerby was pulled out by rescuers who came to the rescue, who, according to eyewitnesses, collapsed the pit even more.

The city administration reported that stormwater washed away the walls of the well, as a result of which the soil sagged and a pit was formed. The victim suffered a bruised chest, but miraculously escaped serious injuries. The woman said that she intends to write a complaint to the prosecutor's office.
