The TSI trading strategy is a trend following strategy that utilizes the True Strength Index indicator. The TSI indicator is a momentum indicator with little lag in the representation of price movement momentum. This allows traders to use the TSI as a trade confirmation signal without having to be a technical analyst. The TSI can be very useful in identifying price fluctuations that may be signs of overbought or oversold conditions.

Traders can use the TSI to identify breakouts and shifts in price momentum. The indicator will generate bullish and bearish signals depending on the value of its centerline. The TSI is considered bullish when the value is above zero while bearish when the indicator is below zero. However, it can also be used to identify price momentum changes. If the RSI breaks below a trendline, it may mean that the market will continue selling.
