Yukgaejang (Culture: Sodangogi-guk, English: Yukgaejang or spicy beef soup) is a type of spicy soup made by boiling beef, bracken, and various vegetables such as bean sprouts. Season with red pepper powder, and add pepper, salt, sugar, sesame oil, and soy sauce as seasonings.[1] In some cases, chicken is used instead of beef, and such yukgaejang is called 'dakyukgaejang' or 'dakgaejang'. In Daegu, in particular, it is often called chicken gaejang.
