Brian Howard, Chief Deputy of OCSO Office Adult Detention Center Write-Up 02/19/2021

This is the video of my interaction with Brian Howard during the formal write-up meeting on 2/19/21. You will hear Howard in his own words justify his failure to respond to my email requests dating as far back as 06/05/2020, by explaining that in his eyes OCSO and OC policy were written and therefore clear. He goes on to contradict himself and can caught lying to me telling me that he would have the information I demanded by my return to work on 02/24/2021. As I show in the linked video above, he received a complaint from a well known Leftist named Teri Dose, on the morning of 02/19/2021 at 0800hrs.

Howard at the direction of Torgerson had already "initiated" the internal investigation into me prior to calling me into the office that afternoon. He clearly lied to me about fulfilling my demand for written documentation. This is a common law enforcement tactic. Officers and detectives and supervisors are not required to tell the truth in these moments. They can lie and insinuate and obfuscate all to make their jobs easier. There is no expectation of ethical behavior on their part when they have a target in mind. Moreover, Howard and chiefly Torgerson used the delay to leave the window open for the "suspect" to provide them with sufficient material to justify their actions. In other words, they wanted their outside private sector attorney to have sufficient time to gather information before I was "directed" (read ordered), to remove it.

This video may seem mundane and boring to some of you, but when you couple it with the written document that was presented to me, the bald face lie from Howard about providing the demanded information and the fact that to this date I have never received what is rightly mine to have, it is very clear this was never about unethical or illegal or egregious behavior on my part but was in reality about the fact that Howard and Torgerson cannot stand any "subordinate" that thinks for themselves and stands on principle.

Howard especially likes to echo Torgerson when they talk about ethics and honesty. Both frequently parroting the same routine "If you screw up just be honest and you will keep your job. But if you lie, and we catch you, it's over". (paraphrase)

They hate dissent on any grounds and I can relate direct testimony to you from many now former deputies that ran into the true ugly internal nature of Torgerson and Howard for merely expressing opinions that did not line-up with the opinions of senior supervisory staff. In short, Torgerson especially likes to make people squirm and throw his political weight around. When you do not bow to his narcissistic drive to be the center of the universe, it is over for you.
