A Broken Trust - Canada's Members of Parliament Abandon Constituents

February 18, 2022 is a day that will go down in infamy in Canada. Not only is it the day that a Police State was declared and enforced in Ottawa but it is the day that the Members of Canada's Parliament broke faith with their constituents by running away. Literally and figuratively actually running away.

Instead of staying in the House of Commons where they were debating the horrific, illegal and unjustifiable Emergencies Act, never before used against a peaceful assembly of Canadians, every single Member of Parliament agreed to suspend the debate and leave Canadians to face, without representation, the Statist, Totalitarian might of a Police State.

It is incomprehensible that Members of Parliament chose this path. They individually, and collectively, abandoned their posts and abandoned Canadians in the process.

It appears to be an act of cowardice that will be forever etched in Canada's history.

The world was watching.
