Happy Diamond Bio

In 2007, the world’s economy crashed and global recession hit. Because of the worldwide recession, Happy Diamond’s Neil Diamond tribute/comedy live show was impacted financially. In November of that year his daughter Kylie was born with Cerebral Palsy and many other health issues (see Kylie’s Journey to Walk https://youtu.be/tabvZPcm1ko ). Needless to say, the impact of a child being born with special needs and a global recession happening all at the same time began a struggle for his family to survive. At this time there were very few live show bookings and little money coming in. He really needed to be home to help his wife, Jennifer, with all his daughter’s needs and doctors appointments as well as be there for his two little boys. At that point Happy Diamond decided to take his talent for music online so he could be home. He started singing commercial jingles and making personalized Sweet CarolineD! videos for customers in his garage studio to provide for his family. Finances were very tight for a number of years, but the struggle was worth it to be home with his wife, 2 sons and daughter.

Today Happy Diamond still does live shows in his backyard amphitheater to raise money for various causes (see the Backyard Diamond Jam show video https://youtu.be/OdkCrxsJoOE ) and his online presence as Happy Diamond is growing all the time. Life has given him and his family challenges, but as he likes to say, “Without challenges there is no opportunity for victory!”. Happy Diamond’s hope is that you can overcome the challenges in your life and find victory as well.
