Heifer having calf

My sons and I found one of my dads heifers having her first calf. She had been trying to have it for awhile and needed help. If you let a mama keep trying your risk infection, death of calf, the cow, or both. We ended up having to help my dad pull it.

The red mama and the big baby bull calf are just fine!
