Series of bills aims to help with wildfire mitigation efforts after a devastating two years

Even before the Marshall Fire, legislators held a series of interim committee meetings to take a serious look at the state’s wildfire preparedness. The bipartisan committee came up with five bills to help. Three of those bills passed legislative committees Thursday.
