In this tutorial video, we'll go over how to submit a compelling offer in Miami and Florida generally when buying a property.

As you'll learn, buying a property in Florida is different than in New York because offers are submitted typically via signed copy of the standard Florida Realtor contract.

If the seller decides to "accept" the buyer's "offer," the seller simply counter-signs the contract and everyone is then bound by the terms of the contract.

Therefore, in order to submit a credible and serious offer in Miami and the Florida market generally, buyers should send a signed contract to the seller or seller's agent.

Of course, it's possible to submit a non-binding verbal or email offer and see if the seller will play ball, but most often in Florida, Realtors will demand that you submit a "real" offer via a signed contract, especially if there's a chance that you won't be that far off in price.
