How to Maximize Production: The Theory of Constraints

Eli Goldratt, in his book The Goal showed how to maximize production by understanding that the true goal is to maximize profits, not necessarily maximizing the up-time of all workstations and machines in the factory. He taught that how to maximize production is to understand the constraints during production and systematically work to alleviate those constraints. In this video, I summarize the Theory of Constraints and give examples of how it is used.
