Sometimes I wonder if I was unfortunately a Heroin addict in another life because I swear to GOD, so many of my favorite songs are about Heroin its scary! In all seriousness tho, this song is so beautiful and so tragic all at the sametime. Warren Zevon was such an amazing writer and when I heard GG Allin cover this song on the acoustic, it really made me appreciate his raw passion for music. Then Flaco Jimenez teaming up with Dwight Yoakam and doing their version was freaking awesome too!
This started off as a simple acoustic cover, but then I couldn't help myself and ended up making a fun complete full band cover and fancy smansy video style. Ya know how I do!
