Chronic Gingivitis in Cats - How Catarina Recovered | cat is life.
Catarina had gingivitis (any cat can have it, at any age), which is an inflammation of the gums. It occurs by the accumulation of food in unsanitized teeth, and some cats are more predisposed to having it.

Here at home we can't brush our children's teeth, they hate having their mouths touched (like most kittens). For this reason, I avoid giving sachets (wet food) because the accumulation is even greater.

We did several treatments in an attempt to resolve it, but the meds were valid only while they were being taken. That's why we took it to a specialist who recommended us to extract the back teeth. At the time I was in shock, but today I say with certainty that it changed the life of my princess.

And today she has a normal life, eats the same food as my other children (as the dentist said she would), gained weight and interacts with her siblings and with us normally.

We are too happy.
