Historical belief is the easy part of Christianity. It is easy to believe that Jesus lived, was a good teacher, and that the disciples were basically good people. It is easy to believe that political foes opposed Jesus and had him executed. But that is not the belief Christians are cultivating. Christianity cultivates an active belief that gets out into the community and makes a positive and healthy difference in the lives of others.

Making our Christian life count involves much more than just mindlessly scrolling through social media for endless hour after hour after hour. A little social media is good, but there is so much more to life, especially the Christian life, than social media.
