Volkswagen I.D. Concept
As a concept car, the I.D. has the Pilot tech, which explains the four backlit circles on the roof, one at each corner. Those are laser scanners, commonly referred to as lidar sensors, which protrude from the bodywork and scan the I.D.’s surroundings when the autonomous-driving mode is activated.
