It’s Been a Year, but I’m Still Not Over Him!

Question:
I dated my ex for 5 years. We broke up a year ago but I really can’t seem to let it go and move forward. I keep thinking about everything that happened and wishing he would just come around and tell me he was sorry. I knew he was cheating on me with many girls and eventually, I found out he was cheating with a lady who is 51-years-old and he is 25. They’re still together.

I can’t get over how he chose this lady over me! She posts all kinds of pole dancing videos of herself in her underwear and he comments on all of it— how hot she is, yet he never treated me like that.

It makes me feel like I was never good enough and I’m embarrassed that he chose this kind of lady over me.
