Gilpin County's historic Black-owned resort Lincoln Hills celebrates 100 years

During a time when “Whites Only” signs hung in storefront windows and at the entrances to parks, Lincoln Hills, a Black-owned outdoor resort in Gilpin County, welcomed Black vacationers. This year marks 100 years since it opened its doors.
