Media Commentator Liz Storer says surely Brits can’t be expected to be “fitting the bill” for the alleged actions of Prince Andrew.

It comes after Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre have reached a settlement outside of court in the civil sexual assault case in the United States.

“We know that this would be in the millions of pounds; look, I don’t like this at all,” Ms Storer told sky News host Chris Kenny.

“I don’t like things being settled out of court because it means that Prince Andrew, who would appear to be guilty of these charges gets to walk away an innocent man, technically innocent, no charges a laid, he’s not convicted of anything.

“I want to know who’s paid out this massive settlement because we know the royals live on the taxpayer purse, but surely Brits can’t be expected to be fitting the bill for this Prince’s alleged actions.”
