Starblades comic review - 80s feel, 90s art, 2020s indie comics

Starblades, the first book by Kyle Ritter, makes you remember getting up at the crack of dawn and stuffing your face with the sugariest cereal possible while watching Saturday Morning cartoons. Kyle who usually does the colors for All Caps owner, Ethan Van Sciver, strikes out on his own doing all of the art and writing himself. It's like an homage to 80s cartoons like Thunder Cats. Although some of the book is uneven, it's a great first attempt.
