Well it's Friday and we're in a hurry to get this week over with but the Mayor insisted on us putting this segue together for today. So we traipsed back into the Seventies for The Five Man Electrical Band and 10cc mix. There were a lot of rumors back then as to what the 10cc meant but we're pretty sure it didn't mean 10 crappy cuts but there was another rumor and we're not going there... besides we're all hiding in plain view over here.

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

The feature will be available for integration into other AIR Classic Rock terrestrial stations in the future as well. It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
