Dumb Texas Cop Still Does Not Understand Texas ID Laws

Police have to have a traffic offence, or a reasonable suspicion that criminal activity is afoot to detain someone. Texas law states that absent an offence ie law broken, one has no duty to give an ID to an officer just because the officer wants to know your name to run for warrants.
