Do This Before Looking For Help

Greetings from the Joshua Tree National Scenic Byway in Arizona.

I want to show you these Joshua trees behind me real quick. They're pretty cool. These are some pretty old trees out here.

Anyway, this is where I stopped for the night and I'm having a challenge with my electronic logging device. I'm telling you I've had it eight ways from Sunday with machines that tell you what to do and then you know, you're bound by this.

The law says the machine is what knows what's right and you don't always have a connection. Or a good enough one to where you can get things done.

Now I'm struggling with the person that is supposed to be dealing with this stuff, to help to do it and telling me I can do this. I've never been able to do it before and now I'm supposed to call a number that tells me how to do something that I already know I can't do, and I'm frustrated.

It's a drag because it seems like this year has gotten off to a rocky start. Not big things, just small things that happen that go on. You know, it's life.

Everything else though, the stuff I'm doing online. My girl Rockit, she's had some really good sales on her stuff that she does.

I just don't understand. Maybe it's the universe telling me it's time to just not do this anymore. I don't know.

I've had this in my mind for a while. I love what I do, but the truth is I want to quit it before I don't like it. You know what I mean?

I don't want to be in a position where, Oh God, I hate this so much and blah, blah. I know some people are... maybe you, are in a situation where it feels like that. I just don't want to get that way.

But the main thing I wanted to just put out in this video is this. Mostly you hear nowadays, no man is an island and you can't do everything yourself, and you've got to get a team and get a coach and a mentor and all this.

I'm here to tell you, you've got to learn to think for yourself first.

Of course there's things that you're going to need more people in, different specialists to do different things and so on.

But first, foremost, in the end, in the beginning, and always in between.

Think for yourself, then look for help.

Because you may end up in a situation like this, where you've got to have someone else help, and depend on them, and they just don't seem to be able to get things done.

I want to end on a higher note.

Just look at the scenery behind me, you know? Cause as long as there's beauty like this in the world, we can make things happen.

And if you ever forget, just take a look at some scenery like that and you'll feel better in no time.
